What hurts more about Axel’s tear drop, is now we know that the emotion was real. He did have a heart. And he cannot contain that tear, because this is breaking his heart as a Nobody. He’s just given up his “life” to help Roxas’ other, because he knew that he’d probably never get Roxas back, so helping Sora was the next best thing.
He didn’t just make Axel feel like he had a heart, because now we know that Axel did have a heart - they all did. So what he felt, it was real and horrible and raw.
